Dear Library Patrons,
We have been carefully monitoring developments related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Our first priority is always the safety of our patrons and staff therefore we have decided to postpone all programs and meetings scheduled at the Library from Friday, March 13th, through Tuesday, March 31st.  We will work to reschedule postponed events when possible and refund program registrants if necessary.

We take these steps out of an abundance of caution and feel it is the best way to serve the community by heeding the guidance of health officials.

We continue to advise all our patrons, as well as staff, to follow CDC guidelines by:

§  Staying home if you are not feeling well
§  Regularly washing your hands
§  Avoiding crowded areas, especially if you are an at-risk individual

Currently, the Library remains open for normal hours.  Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures are taking place.  As a precaution we have also temporarily removed hard to clean toys from our Children’s Room.

Starting Friday, March 13th, the book drop will remain open at all times to return materials. In addition, we are suspending late fees on all items until further notice.

As always, the Library has many digital services available to you for free, such as,
e-books, e-audiobooks, movies, digital newspapers and magazines.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  We look forward to returning to normal operating procedures.  Until then, please follow social distancing guidelines and stay safe.

Sincerely,
Jessica Tymecki
Librarian-in-Charge
