Penguin Storytime
Morning Program
Picture Book Storytime (for 3-5 year olds) was all about Penguins this week! The kids enjoyed penguin themed songs, fingerplays, and many stories, including the pop-up book The Puzzled Penguin by Keith Faulkner.
It was fun to line up to play the game "Feeding fish to the penguin". Many kids particularly enjoyed wearing penguin masks and waddling like a penguin through the igloo, while listening to the actual sounds that penguins make. If your child would like to join us, there is still room for more friends in the morning and afternoon sessions!
