Reading Is Snow Much Fun

Cold winter days are the perfect time to curl up with a good book and READ! Children age 3 - Grade 6 may join our annual Winter Reading Club and read for fun and prizes. 

 Visit the Children's Desk in the library to register for this awesome Winter Reading Club.  Children will receive a reading chart and bookmark at time of registration.

New Editions to the Children's Room!

New Computers! Come Explore!

We have 2 new touch screen computers in the children's room with over 100 programs for children to explore!  The AWE Early Literacy Stations can be accessed by touchscreen (or mouse) and do not need Cd's or passwords.  AWE requires no internet connection, so it is safe and secure. There are programs at every interest level for children ages 3 and up, with 7 major categories  that are accessed on the home screen. Each category has over a dozen educational games that are engaging and intuitive for young learners.
